This is how the nameplate looks.
ncNameplates
ncNameplates is a nameplates modifier addon. There are a lot of nameplate modifiers out there, but this one has the unique function of adding class icons to the nameplate. Well, this isn't completely unique, because Aloft can do this too, but I wanted a lightweight addon that can do this because Aloft is 3MB. Credit to Caellian, pretty much completely copied his code, adapted the fonts, textures and a little mechanics and ofcourse added the class icon.

Upcoming features:
- None, but I'm going to completely rewrite the code when I have time
Suggest features!

Usage:
Install and go! If you want a bigger fontsize, different font or bartexture, open ncNameplates/ncNameplates.lua and edit line 1-4. That's all there is!

Names for ncNameplates remain mostly warrior brown while in my version of Lyncolors (and subsequently chat, tooltips, unit frames, etc) warriors are coral red. I've looked at the Lua files for both and can't seem to figure it out. Any insight is appreciated, even if it's just for removing the class color from names alltogether. This is a great addon and I thank you for it.

Hey there Nightcracker, Ferous here. I was curious as to why when I change the Font and such in the lua:

Code:
-- CONFIG
local glowtexture = "Interface\\Addons\\ncNameplates\\blank2"
local font, fontSize, fontOutline = "Interface\\Addons\\ncNameplates\\font", 12, "OUTLINE"
local bartexture = "Interface\\Addons\\ncNameplates\\flat"
it makes it look like this, and I can't seem to figure out why I can't change your code :O

Yes I am a noob to Lua, though I know the basic things to change stuff >.>

edit - I changed the font to Roadway and then just deleted the old font and renamed Roadway to font.
edit x 2 - For some stupid reason.. it is working now! >.<

Disregard the post above :O

Great addon! I suggest changing the "MONOCHROME" default to "OUTLINE"
The monochrome makes it look really pixelated and stuff.

Ah well, it looks plain and simple, maybe nice for ppl who wanna see the plates a bit more.

OK, I think I've solved the problem with wrong class icons showing above someone's head. Also, this is impossible because my addon has no control over the range at which the nameplates appear(but it might be an illusion because the plates are smaller).
