restfu bugged?
after the most recent patch alot of my fubar addons are no longer working..
the error message says something about abacus not being found or something
please help

I don't have the error text in front of me, but the plugin also bugs out when you delete a character from any server. I'll try to remember to get that error text and paste it into this posting later today after I get home from work.

RestFu broken by purging all chars on a server.
I'm having trouble with this addon because of the following situation:

1) Login to a few chars on one server (Turalyon). This seeds RestFu with data on each char.
2) Login to a character on another server (Tichondrius). This adds that char as well.
3) Login to Turalyon on some char, Purge the Tichondrius character from the list.

Now the list of chars for Tichondrius is empty and you get the following error everytime you login:

bad argument #1 to 'sort' (table expected, got nil) File: Interface\AddOns\Fubar_RestFu\RestFu.lua Line: 312 Count: Infinite

The only work around that I've found for this is to remove saved data for RestFu. This is a real pain. RestFu stops working until you do this. You may also be able to log back into the other server (Tichondrius) and re-add that info. But I removed it for a reason, I don't want it.

If you Purge all the characters on a particular server, you get the following error which repeats periodically and is fixed only by logging into a character on that server again with RestFu loaded:

still getting table value errors
Still getting same errors after downloading this morning's version. See error log appended to previous bug report. No saved variables to delete; used wowace updater to pull down SVN. Help!

Hi, im getting the error;

Interface\Addons\Fubar_RestFu\RestFu.lua:132: attempt to call a table value

I get this when i hover over the icon on the panel, it was working before the patch and i deleted the files in my WTF\SAved Variables folder but still the same.

Anyone know how to fix or should I just wait for an update?

I saw the bug I was going to mention is already on your web site. I'm getting those endless table error messages as well after deleting a character. I think the trick is that if you have only 1 character on a server, and purge it, then it's trying to still sort that realm even with no characters in it. From my saved data file after logging out:

So either the sort test needs to make sure that realm has characters, and/or delete the realm completely when the last character there is deleted. As a workaround, I'm deleting that realm from the saved variable file by hand.

Love the addon! just startedusing FuBar and this was one of my first addon's.

My only request, is there any way to make the icon...err.. like glow? or something when you are in a resting area.
